JB’s Writing Matters is founded and directed by writing coach Janet Steinberg. Steinberg applies her expertise and skills as a writing coach and writer to help clients realize their own writing goals. She helps students effectively and engagingly target their aspirations via essays and applications to their chosen educational institutions and specialty programs; she assists business, political and non-profit campaigns in sharpening their necessary messaging and funding efforts; and she helps clients define their brand, services, and product launches via content marketing.

Steinberg has authored two books; countless articles and position papers; co-authored national and state legislation; ghostwritten numerous articles; and provided her research and editing expertise to a wide variety of clients for publication.  She has directed national fundraising efforts for a successful US Senate campaign in California and has founded and directed two undergraduate programs awarded national model status. She has MAs in Counseling Psychology and Education, a BA in Political Science, and professional certifications in coaching services and administrative services.
